ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Experienced SMACNA Contractors know that the best project managers take ownership of their projects. This concentrated program builds upon existing project management skills and strengthens proficiency.

Project Managers Institute is recommended for project managers with two to five years project management experience.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The registration fee includes program materials and planned activities each day. Accommodations are paid separately by attendees. To reserve your place in the program, submit the online registration form with payment before January 2, 2023. The room rate is $159, plus applicable taxes.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

Room Rate: $159, plus local taxes and fees (currently 14.525%).

All the above rooms are run-of-house guestrooms. These rates are available 3 days prior/post-meeting, based upon hotel availability.

Reservations must be made by Friday, January 6, 2023. Accommodations will be made on your behalf by SMACNA on a space-available basis, upon payment of the meeting registration fee. A credit card is required to guarantee your hotel reservation and must be presented at check-in for payment of your room, tax, and incidental charges. Please note that the room block is sometimes filled before the room cut-off date, therefore rooms are subject to availability, and a possible rate change. SMACNA will contact you if the room block is full, or if there has been a rate change.

The hotel cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to the date of arrival. No-shows and late cancellations will be charged one night's room and tax. Early departures will be charged one night's room and tax.

Project Planning

Develop a complete end-to-end project delivery plan

Organize and structure project plan information for communicating with project team

Effectively document the project plan

Introduce course “projects” and allow teams to develop an initial plan.

Define and understand the value of the customer.

Use the participant manual by adding to it and referring to it

Refer to the PMDP Handbook for articles that will guide you as you try out your toolbox
